DCH Holdings’ effort and participation in charity events in past years has earned widespread recognition among the community. This year, DCH Holdings and its 6 member companies are granted the “Caring Company” Logo 2008/09 by the Hong Kong Council of Social Services. Members include Dah Chong Hong, Ltd., Dah Chong Hong (Motor Service Centre) Ltd. (awarded “Caring Company” 5 Years Plus Logo), Dah Chong Hong (Motor Leasing) Ltd., DCH Food Mart, Sims Trading Company Limited and Shiseido Dah Chong Hong Cosmetics Ltd. This shows the recognition of DCH Holdings’ contribution and outstanding performance in corporate social responsibility. For years, DCH Holdings has been taking part in various charity events. A corporate volunteer team is also formed to provide various services to the disadvantaged in the community. In 2008, DCH Holdings has been actively supporting different activities of the NGOs, such as Sichuan Emergency Relief, Walk for Millions organized by the Community Chest of Hong Kong, Oxfam Rice Sale and Oxfam Trailwalker 2008, Kwun Tong Methodist Social Service’s Gleaners Community Foodbank, Charity Sale with UNICEF, etc. The volunteer teams of DCH Holdings and its member companies also encouraged the participation of colleagues in voluntary services and organized visits with such charity organizations as Po Leung Kuk and Chinese YMCA to the elderly. Looking forward, DCH Holdings, together with its colleagues, will continue to devote care and contribution to the community in order to carry out our corporate social responsibility.
